Da Vinci Code pisses off the Pope
Secretive and ultra-conservative Catholic group Opus Dei, have given up requesting changes to be made to the film's final edit, or for it to be given adults-only ratings. Instead they have requested that a disclaimer be put at the start of the film, Sony is examining the possibility of this! It will apparently clarify that it is a work of fantasy and that any similarity with reality is purely coincidental.
Editor's Note: I am not very religious, but a touch agnostic. I know that if I were a Sony big wig, I might be inclined to reply - "prove it".
